Day Eleven #NaPoWriMo 2016

Bleach Spray
I tried so hard to clean the tiles;
avoided chemical burns by wearing gloves,
ventilated generously and stood back
as I shot down each metre squared,
achieving what I saw as the perfect candela.
Magic spray (softened cynicism);
looked away (lies);
wandering stray (generous);
was distracted when I should’ve focused
on one thing at a time (unheard of).
Matte ring under two out of four blown-lights;
oval medal and intermittent reminder from now on.
